Our Atlantida Hotel Spa review is based on the facilities we used during our stay, including a classic full-body massage and time in the salt room. The treatment menu is broader than most guests will need, but the compact setting, attentive therapist and connection to Rogaška Slatina’s wellness tradition gave the experience a character of its own.

Inside Atlantida Wellness & Spa

Atlantida Spa is designed primarily for hotel guests who want to add unhurried wellness time to a stay in Rogaška Slatina. The indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna oasis and gym cover the essentials, while massages, facial and body care, halotherapy and specialist programs are booked separately. It does not have the scale of a large thermal resort, which helps the atmosphere remain quiet and personal.

Large windows bring the surrounding greenery into the sauna area and soften the modern interior. We enjoyed that connection with nature, especially during quieter moments between treatments. The Finnish sauna was an easy place to settle in, although the Turkish sauna needed some cosmetic attention during our visit. It still worked as intended, but the wear was noticeable in an otherwise polished five-star hotel.

Our Massage at Atlantida Spa

We chose a classic hour-long full-body massage. The therapist met us at the spa reception, showed us to the treatment room and explained how to prepare before giving us privacy. Large waffle-weave towels were waiting inside and were generous enough to wrap around us comfortably, a small detail that made the beginning of the treatment more relaxed.

Gentle music and warm massage oil established a peaceful rhythm, but the treatment still had enough depth to be useful. Once our muscles had loosened, the therapist identified the areas that needed more attention and spent extra time on them without disrupting the flow. The pressure remained controlled and the hour passed quickly. This balance between relaxation and focused work was the strongest part of our spa experience.

The massage list is extensive, so booking by treatment name alone can be confusing. A short conversation with the spa team is useful, particularly if you have a specific concern or prefer a certain pressure. The salt room offered a very different kind of pause. Halotherapy involves resting in a room where fine salt particles are dispersed into the air. The session itself required no effort beyond sitting quietly, and the dry, softly lit surroundings made it easy to slow down. Vivi had been dealing with a persistent rash, and her skin looked noticeably calmer after roughly 40 minutes. That was our personal observation from one visit, not a medical conclusion, but it made the session memorable.

Atlantida also offers facial and body treatments, manicures, pedicures and other beauty services. The spa uses products from Afrodita Professional, a cosmetics company based in Rogaška Slatina, which gives this part of the menu a welcome local connection. We did not try every category, so our assessment is based on the facilities, consultation and treatments we personally experienced.

Is Atlantida Hotel Spa Worth Visiting?

Atlantida Hotel Spa works best as part of a stay at the hotel. It offers enough variety to fill several days, yet the scale remains manageable and the atmosphere rarely becomes impersonal. Our massage was thoughtfully delivered, the salt room added something different, and the PEGAZ Mg programs tied the experience to the destination.

There is room for improvement. The Turkish sauna needed refreshing during our visit, and guests may require help to make sense of the lengthy treatment list. Those shortcomings did not outweigh the strengths. For travelers who prefer a quiet hotel spa with professional treatments and a strong sense of place, Atlantida is a convincing base for a wellness break in Rogaška Slatina.
