It brought together the strongest scones, the most complete set, attentive service and a tea room that suited the landscape. The Smokehouse was less polished but more rustic, with a genuinely enjoyable homemade scone and a garden that almost completed the English-country-house illusion on its own.

BOH Sungei Palas Tea Centre and The Lord’s Cafe answer different needs. BOH is the place for local tea, cake and a view that no dining room can improve, while The Lord’s Cafe remains a modest budget option. If time allows only one reservation, choose the resort.
